My first piano piece in some time takes it's name from a psychological state of manic anger. The performer must slam the assorted tone clusters with fists. This one started without a main theme but instead with short recurring motives (usually centered around a altered minor seventh chord). Like certain individuals who find themselves in "high dudgeon," there's an exhilaration to this manic state that in my version comes across as a jazzy playfulness combined with a pinch of ferocity.
